The Red Door Gallery and Studio Liink

Bear with me as I test the waters on this fancy blog set up by John Rickard.

Anyway, since May 27th it has become a sudden reality. After searching for a shop for my Fine Art print work, we happened upon this small space right in the middle of Mount Shasta on main street and created the Red Door Gallery, showing frequent art shows in photography and contemporary art, in addition to the Studio Liink work shop.

So you can find either: Studio Liink, the artist’s print shop and Red Door Gallery under one small roof in the Elks building on main street.

We are posting a minimum schedule of Wednesday – Saturday from Noon to 5 PM, as we are often on assignment and still have to work at the remote photography studio as well – but will be present many more hours for your visit, especially on holiday weekends!

This back wall composite shows some of Aleksander Balos’, especially this FA print of “Superman” on an Ultra Smooth FA paper 20×32″ open edition for only $ 290 and the most recent painting: “Scooter in Mount Shasta”.

Please allow me a few quick notes on Studio Liink, evolving from the FAQs collected from visitors.

SL is a high-end art print shop focused on creating archival pigment ( aka giclee ) print work for the art and gallery markets on an international level. We are working with the latest print and ink technology from Epson and Canon, paired with extensive visual arts insights and a radical service commitment to work with the artist, to create edition work for the market in a team approach. The artist’s and printer’s vision has to match on a creative level to create really outstanding print work, simple as that. We take the time to build a progressive relationship with the artist, every piece is a unique project from start to finish.

SL does prefer to have a good look at your project and out put ideas, then prepares a binding project bid, providing peace of mind for the client – you never pay for any work not up to your standards, or not full filling the work order, period. And you will know your cost upfront, if there are any changes as we move along, they will be signed off by the client, before we do apply added work.

Your art work is in most cases, not just another mass product, but a very unique, novel piece of work and so do we regard every incoming work request – a unique and one of a kind project……..not a cookie cutter pre-set project …….there are many internet based solutions for that – we are not another quantity oriented shop, we do quality work in a co-op with the creator and do so with the latest tech and on an international level – c’est ca. Pretty simple really.
